Director of Partner Experience

Location: Onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL or Atlanta, GA

Overview of the position

As the Director of Partner Experience, you will lead and oversee all aspects of our partner engagement strategy, including relationship management with key stakeholders such as OEMs, DSPs, and automotive dealerships. This role demands a visionary leader who can drive strategic growth, foster deep partnerships, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in aligning RockED’s partner experience strategy with broader business goals, ensuring our partners achieve measurable success while driving retention and expansion.

Job responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive partner experience strategy that aligns with RockED’s business objectives and growth targets.
    • Build and nurture strategic, high-value relationships with senior leaders at OEMs, DSPs, and key dealership groups to position RockED as an indispensable partner.
    • Serve as the executive sponsor for top-tier partner accounts, addressing challenges, seizing opportunities, and ensuring long-term alignment.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of partner experience professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
    • Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing, engaged team.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee partner onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition and rapid adoption of RockED’s solutions.
    • Implement scalable systems and processes to track partner health, measure success, and identify growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams—Sales, Product, Support, and Marketing—to deliver a cohesive and exceptional partner experience.
  • Revenue Growth and Retention:
    • Identify and execute strategic opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding partner relationships.
    • Drive partner retention by ensuring consistent delivery of value and alignment with their long-term business objectives.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform and optimize partner engagement strategies, delivering measurable results.
  • Customer Advocacy and Market Influence:
    • Act as a thought leader and advocate for partners, representing their needs and feedback to internal stakeholders.
    • Build RockED’s reputation in the automotive industry by representing the company at conferences, trade shows, and partner events.
    • Leverage industry insights and trends to position RockED as a leader in the automotive learning and development space.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in partner management, customer success, or account management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic relationships with OEMs, DSPs, or other enterprise partners, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and scale high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to align partner engagement efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Strong business acumen and expertise in automotive dealership operations.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and partner management platforms.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
